He made his way up from flyweight to welterweight and defeated the best of their divisions. His last 3 fights were against boxing superstars Oscar de la Hoya, Ricky Hatton and Miguel Cotto who all got knocked out by the pacman. His next possible opponent could be former P4P Number 1 Floyd Mayweather Jr. who made his comeback and outclassed Pacquiao’s rival Juan Manuel Marquez in September of this year.
