Daniel Ponce de Leon, professional boxer and member of the Tarahumara Indian tribe of Mexico, fighting his way to the top to become the next junior featherweight champion and first Tarahumara Indian ever to fight for a world title in boxing. Matthew Vasquez, an amateur boxer fighting out of East Los Angeles and trying to fulfill his dreams becoming a professional champion boxer. To get there he has to overcome the everyday struggles of life in East Los Angeles, gang violence, poverty, and a broken home, all feeding his hunger to become the best amateur boxer in the world. Adrian Pasten, Joe Hernández, Clemente Medina, and Mundo “El Brujo” Morales, provide unique insight into the world of boxing from the eyes and experience of long time trainers, Promoters, consultans, and managers as they guide these young fighters in their pursuit boxing glory.
